Privacy

Built with local-first privacy principles

Utiliful is designed so utilities can run in the user's browser wherever possible. This framework does not include accounts, logins, or AI features, and it avoids sending user data to paid third-party APIs.

As the utility catalog grows, each tool can declare its own privacy note in the shared registry. That keeps privacy messaging consistent and visible across every utility page.

For most future utilities, files and text should be processed locally in the browser using standard web APIs. If a tool ever requires a different model, its page should explain that clearly before any user action happens.

This initial framework does not collect personal accounts, subscriptions, or usage profiles. Any future analytics or operational tooling should be added carefully and disclosed transparently.
